At the end of November, our team took part in BizTopix 2025 in Portorož. This year’s theme, “AI for Business,” brought together executives, innovators, and technology experts to explore data readiness for AI, implementation of large language models, ethical and secure development of AI solutions, and real industry cases of digital transformation.

The event offered an excellent mix of inspiration, practical use cases, and networking, reaffirming that AI will remain one of the key strategic drivers in 2026.
A special highlight for us was the presentation delivered by our Gregor Kavšček on AI-powered asset management with IBM Maximo Application Suite. Gregor demonstrated how AI enables organizations to predict equipment failures before they occur, detect anomalies using sensor and IoT data, optimise maintenance planning with smart scheduling, and reduce downtime with technologies such as digital twins and visual inspection.

As part of the conference programme, we also presented how Maximo’s built-in AI transforms asset management from traditional reactive maintenance to predictive and prescriptive strategies. The Maximo Application Suite integrates data from sensors, IoT systems, and historical records to provide advanced fault prediction, anomaly detection and more efficient planning of maintenance activities.
BizTopix 2025 was an inspiring event filled with valuable insights into AI, automation, infrastructure, and cybersecurity and a great opportunity to connect with the community and gather ideas for future projects!
