Important Notice for IBM Maximo users
IBM Maximo Application Suite with IBM Maximo Asset Management Dual Support ending 2027

IBM has announced that dual support for IBM Maximo Asset Management (EAM) 7.6.1.x under IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) licensing will end on April 30, 2027. Customers currently leveraging both EAM and MAS as part of their migration strategy should begin planning their transition activities now.
What Does This Mean?
Organizations that have upgraded or traded up their IBM Maximo Asset Management licenses to IBM Maximo Application Suite licenses have been allowed to run both environments during their migration period. This dual-support arrangement will no longer be available after April 30, 2027.
For Perpetual License Trade-Up Customers
- Migration from EAM 7.6.1.x to MAS Manage must be completed by April 30, 2027.
- After this date, EAM usage rights expire, and continued use may result in licensing non-compliance.
For Subscription Upgrade Customers
- Customers will remain compliant with their subscription agreements after April 30, 2027.
- However, EAM 7.6.1.x will no longer be supported by IBM.
