Managing your business with the TROIA T-SENSE augmented reality platform

Ljubljana, Slovenia - Experts from leading Slovenian industries face the question of how to move to the Industry 4.0 model. At the “Days of best practice 2018” conference held at the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce (Gospodarska zbornica Slovenije) from October 2nd to 3rd (2018), we were delighted to introduce them to some answers. One of these was our augmented reality (AR) platform TROIA T-SENSE.

Rok Dolinšek and Urh Lednik, from Troia d.o.o., presented a group of business experts our application of augmented reality (AR) interface hooked up to an Internet of Things cloud. Together they form a fully functioning T-WORKMANAGER and T-REMOTE support that allows a company to interact with and assist their experts in the field.

We showed them what the introduction of design thinking brings to a company, the transformation of how the assets are managed. While showcasing concrete examples we posed the question of how the digitalization of a company connects to its sustainable orientation. In this regard, we also explored the concept of a “digital lean”. Most importantly we elaborated on how to install a “digital platform of a smart factory”.

These are some of the most acute issues a modern company faces, especially those companies that have already started the transformation from Industry 3.0 to Industry 4.0 or are considering such a step.

Experts from the companies Kolektor Group, Viessman Group, Iskraemeco, Revoz, Siemens, IBM Slovenija, and other experts in the field from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Faculty of Electrical Engineering exchanged views on such processes and offered their perspective on the subject.

Showcasing our solution titled “An augmented reality that is useful today” we elaborated on what the concept of AR means to us, what solutions it brings to a company, and how added value is created through it.

We demonstrated the TROIA T-SENSE smart platform for AR and explored how machine maintenance becomes more reliable when applying it and how it enables the earlier detection of errors. Paired with AR glasses it is also an excellent tool for educating employees for different work tasks.

Demonstrating how the process of delegating tasks and work orders function in TROIA T-WORKMANAGER we offered leading experts a practical answer to the question of transition to the newest standards.
