Six speakers from different companies presented topics based on effective asset management and how it can impact your business during the more and more expected economic crisis.

Diego Klappenbach, UMS Group Europa

Diego Klappenbach, Strategic Asset Management expert at UMS Group Europe, joined us all the way from Sweeden. His interactive presentation on how to improve overall performance in an organization by using ISO55000 standards for optimal management of physical assets was the perfect event starter.

 

Primož Sevčnikar, Troia

Primož Sevčnikar, CTO at Troia, presented asset management as the vision for future growth. He explained today's challenges and presented how and with which solutions those can be solved. Asset management, Predictive Maintenance, TROIA AR Platform, IoT platform and other effective asset management solutions were presented by our CTO, adding why TROIA is the company to include in that vision for future growth.

 

Borut Bežan, Lek

Borut Bežan, Head of IT services at Novartis Slovenia, gave a few good examples of how and why they decided to upgrade their monitoring system with IIoT and AR (Augmented reality) platforms. All from optimizing and reducing costs, advanced analytics and using augmented technology to connect to AR glasses, smartphones and tablets – a presentation that will force you to think bigger.

 

Miha Verbič, Troia

Miha Verbič, head of IT consultants at Troia, talked about the necessity of introducing changes and new technologies to every company. Most importantly, he showed HOW to stay competitive on the market that is already introducing new technologies and how we can be your first step to do so.

 

 

Tamas Kubicsek, IBM

Tamas Kubicsek, Watson IoT Presales Specialist from IBM Hungary focused on APM (asset performance management). Comparing APM and EAM (Enterprise asset management) and explaining how APM can help optimize asset and maintenance strategy. »We must evolve in our thinking and practice and move away from actions and thinking of Maintenance as an Expense to Maintenance as an Investment.” Tamas concluded his presentation.

 

Matic Breznik, Troia

Matic Breznik, AR sales and development at Troia started his presentation by talking about the movie »Minority report«. Not sure what is has to do with the presentation? Well, you should have been there. But not to be too secretive, Matic went into details on how AR (augmented reality) is here and alive and ready to take your company to the next level.

 

 

Through the whole event, attendees had the unique opportunity to see and try all solutions live. TROIA specialists in AR (augmented reality), APM (Asset Performance Management), IoT, Monitoring and more, were there, ready to explain, demonstrate and help with any questions. At the same time, our guests were able to try AR glasses first hand.

 

      

With all that new knowledge and overwhelming information, we took advantage of the beautiful summer-like October day and took a walk »through the treetops« at Rogla.
