“Physical things don’t need to be physical.” Mark Zuckerberg’s vision for AR

We’ve been saying that augmented reality has been around for quite some time, but most experts are predicting that this is the decade when AR becomes a part of our daily routine. Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook CEO is betting big on this emerging field of technology.

Mark Zuckerberg has a vision for the future, and it involves a lot less stuff. It is not new, not even for Facebook which uses it to power face-distorting camera lenses, but it will become a lot more than just funny faces for photos in the next years.

“The technology platform of the 2010s was the mobile phone. While I expect phones to still be our primary devices through most of this decade, at some point in the 2020s, we will get breakthrough augmented reality glasses that will redefine our relationship with technology." Mark Zuckerberg recently wrote on one of his Facebook posts.

Obviously we agree.
